After long years of spiritual practice,in 2006,we,some monk disciples of SRI SRI THAKUR PURNANANDA, started some social activities like organizing MEDICAL CAMPS,CHARITABLE DISPENSARY etc. and in this process,our twin organizations RAMAKRISHNA-PURNANANDA ASHRAM (Math) & RAMAKRISHNA-PURNANANDA SEVA ASHRAM (Mission) had come into existence and been regd. Under Society Act in 2009 at Burnpur,ASNL. & address changed to Kalajharia PIYARICHAND BAUL’S ASHRAM where in a small hut,four monks Swami Shibeshananda(Vice-President), Late Swami Bichitrananda (Ex-President),Swami Hariharananda(President),Kripa Chaitanya Maharaj(Founder Secretary) had their spiritual practices with great austerity and renunciation depending upon small jungle at Damodar riverside for their livelihood at the Vaishnava’s burial place.Then ,in 2011,they bought four bighas farming land in Ethora,ASNL and they started construction with land-worship on 26th Jan.,2012 & that very year on 27th Nov., they started living in the newly built Ashramas running resources from devotees provided farming their own in the Ashram cornfield. There are other Ashramites also and Sadhus living temporarily.Our whole spiritual & social activities consolidate with our aims & objectives to get identified with the Supreme God ultimately as our final goal.We firmly believe that no religion is greater than the ABSOLUTE TRUTH.Sri Ramakrishna We believe in the ideological harmony of Sri Ramakrishna Dev and Sri Chaitanya Maha Prabhu.All religions run with the same goal with diverse ritual forms to ultimately get identified with Eternal existence-Knowedge-bliss.We feel religions represent Various forms of ‘isms’ but ultimately they meet into one DHARMA.In the route of spiritual practice,we favour the genius combination of Jnana-Bhakti-Karma-Raj Yoga.Selfless social activities purify mind to prepare to the concentration for spiritual practice to reach to the common realistic sense that GOD-REALISATION IS OUR FINAL GOAL.

The day starts at early dawn with ashramites going roundvillage and(‘GRAMPARIKRAMA’)with‘MAHANAAMSANKIRTANAM’ and worshipping starts at the temple and some sadhus also practise ‘japa’(counting bids) or meditation in their rooms. At 12 a.m., ‘ BHOGARATI’ (offering divine meal at lunch by worshipping)-------- folk assembled in temple arena and offer various divine songs (lone and corus), count bids, meditate and offer prayers, hymn, song of praise etc. every year ‘ SRI SRI BASANTI DURGA PUJA’ is held every year as per lunar days fall.

Morning starts with giving free studies to rural children in oppressed condition by monks and other ashramites , providing necessary study materials etc. and breakfast, conducting ‘ Medical camps ‘ in very remote oppressed rural areas . Various social projects are under process.projects like Medical Centre,Hospital projects,Ambulance,Medical Van etc. are under process. |
